The 1-day EPMA Essentials course is designed to take students through the step-by-step process of building from scratch and managing applications using Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA). The first portion of the course is centered with a general overview of EPMA terms, the architecture of the components, and how they are commonly used. Here we discuss design strategies and highlight environments where EPMA is a good fit. Next, using Planning as our primary focus, we will walk through creating an application using the EPMA Wizard. We will then show how to manage the hierarchies manually in the editor and how to work with shared libraries. From there we will cover topics such as importing dimensions with flat files and using interface tables. We will finish up by showing how to deploy the dimensions to applications and explore the use of the EPMA Batch Client.

Upon completion of this course, using EPMA students will be able to create applications, manage local and shared hierarchies, import dimensions with flat files, use interface table, deploy dimensions, and use the EPMA Batch Client. Course topics include:
